“Stephen Hill doesn’t disappoint, deploying jokes with confidence and eventually getting so caught up in his narrative he’s literally screaming into the mic, the audience howling along with him”
- Three Weeks
Stephen Hill is a London based comedian and writer who started working as a stand up in 2006 after becoming a finalist in Jimmy Carr’s Comedy Idol on his first ever stand-up gig.
Since then Stephen has been doing the stand up on the circuit and shared a stage with the likes of Richard Herring, Russell Howard, Lee Mack, Andrew Maxwell, Reginald D. Hunter and Jeff Green.
Stephen’s first script Gino Ginelli Is Dead was recently made into an audio comedy and is available to download free from The Wireless Theatre Company.
Stephen is now one half of the official Metal Hammer Podcast. Recorded weekly and available to download for free every Friday, Gill and Hill talk music (mostly metal), joke around, do impressions and respond to listener’s emails. Check it out every week HERE and on iTunes, and there’s a video as well.
Lifestyles of the Shit and Worthless was Stephen’s debut hour solo show which took place in May at The Leicester Square Theatre. Both performances sold out and Steve will be taking the show to festivals next year.
